Advent’s founder and director, Melanie Wilhelm, first developed the mission for our one-of-a-kind funeral home on a Saturday morning in 1993. Her dream was to build a new kind of funeral home that would provide families with caring, responsive services. She believed the best way to help the community was to offer straightforward advice and options for all to honor their loved ones in a way that matched their needs. In 1995, she realized her dream of opening Advent funeral home. Since then, our mission has remained the same and we continue to offer compassionate, professional, and honest services to all who walk through our doors.
