My deepest condolences to Kathleen's children and her family and friends. I worked with Kathleen over the years and was always so impressed with her professionally (her foundation fundraising skills were unparalleled!) but most of all impressed with her kind soul and sweet nature. We always talked about our children and I always enjoyed hearing her wise perspective as a mother. I will miss her and my thoughts go out to her children and family. Annie Hughes

My deepest condolences in the loss of your mom, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. I worked with Kathleen at ZERO TO THREE and remember vividly her joy when she brought home Andy. He was the light of her life and she delighted us with her stories of their latest outing or escapade. Kathleen still had so much life to live. My heart and prayers go out to all of you, especially her children. May she Rest in Peace and may you find comfort in your beautiful memories. Lynette Ciervo

Kathleen was a dear friend as well as a colleague. We shared a love for babies and baseball. She was one of the most decent, thoughtful, and caring human beings I have ever known. She touched the lives of so many of us in so many beautiful ways.
For the last ten years we worked side-by-side, Kathleen as the Chief Development Officer, and I as the Executive Director for ZERO TO THREE; our shared mission to ensure every baby has a healthy start in life. Kathleen had worked for us years before as a grant writer and when we created this new position, we were blessed that she returned. She guided our remarkable growth with her strategic sensibility and warm relational abilities. I relied on her calming presence, diplomatic discretion, and wise counsel. Everyone who had the opportunity to work with Kathleen was taken with her smarts and sensitivity. She will be so sorely missed.
Kathleen’s love of Andy and Karen were well known to the staff. She spoke of them with pride and passion. Her dedication as a mother and foster mother were unparalleled. To her entire family, her ZERO TO THREE family extends our deepest condolences for your heartbreaking loss. May her memory be a blessing to us all.

I knew Kathleen through ABR/ASBR/Arlington Senators baseball. Our sons share a passion for baseball and went to the same middle school and now high schools. She was a wonderful, supportive presence at every game and practice and was the source for knowledge about team uniforms, schedules, scorekeeping, you name it. An amazing, wonderful mother and Andy (and I'm sure Karen as well) are living testaments to that!! So very caring and kind and we will miss her so. I feel grateful to have known her; we are here for Andy and happy to be a support for him and the family. My thoughts and heart are with you.

I knew Kathleen in high school, and she was always so kind. Her smile was infectious. I remember when Kathleen was the drum major for our marching band. Even then, she was a fantastic role model and leader.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the whole McEnerny family.
Sincerely,
