Obituary of Jessica Schroth

Jessica Schroth, 48, of Alexandria, Virginia, died Tuesday, August 8, 2023, after a recent illness.  She was the loving mother of Thiago Paul Schroth-Uehara and the love of her husband, John Schroth's life.  Jessy was born in Lima, Peru on March 25, 1975, the daughter and oldest child of Luisa Olimpia Benites Lopez vda de Uehara and the late Dr. Moises Uehara-Llanto.  She graduated from Colegio Mayupampa in La Oroya, Peru.  She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina in Florianopolis, Brazil.  After working for years in the dental field, she went on to receive her MBA from George Washington University in Washington, DC in May, 2022.  While attending GWU, she was accepted into the Golden Key Honor Society and upon graduation was accepted into the Presidential Management Fellows Program at HUD.

During her lifetime, Jessy was able to live and work in several places, including Tampa, Florida, Somerville, New Jersey, Madison, Wisconsin (where she and John first met and later married), Green Bay, Wisconsin, and Virginia Beach, Virginia.  Jessy had a special devotion to El Señor de los Milagros (The Lord of Miracles, Lima, Peru).  Jessy will be remembered for her great and beautiful smile and will continue to inspire her family and friends by her power of will, responsibility and professionalism.

There will be a funeral mass at St. Philips the Apostle Church, Falls Church, Virginia, on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., including a visitation which starts at 10:00 a.m.
