Obituary of Urna Mackie

Urna Mackie, born March 11, 1948, peacefully transitioned to her heavenly home on October 13, 2023.

Urna was born in St. George's Grenada, West Indies, where family was always at the foundation of her identity. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age and truly loved the Lord with all her heart. After spending some time in Montreal, Canada in the 70s/80s, she welcomed a daughter, Naomi Micheline in 1981. She then joined her sister in the U.S and welcomed another daughter Rashaun Lynette in 1983. She was a dedicated employee of Kaiser Permanente (Kensington) for 22 years where she loved going above and beyond for any patient she encountered. A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, godmother, and friend, she will be missed and remembered by many.
